5.30am, the night was short but we have a destination to aim for. Boat is fueled and leave Cuxhaven with the outgoing tide. This habour is truly historical. The routs go back to the late 1800. In 1908 New Yirk liner brought alone 33.000 passengers to Cuxhaven. Today the very same habour gets used for the fishing industry and cargo.
Last year I spend many nights in this harbours, on my way out and back from Helgoland waiting for the right tide and also a week for my practical sailing Exsam. I would say, I have a kind of bonding with this habour.
